Not even one picture was taken this past weekend, shocking! After a crazy week at work last week, I needed a break from it all! Justin headed to the Lake of the Ozarks Friday afternoon for a Guys' Weekend and I stayed in the Lou for some R&R. Friday night I headed out for dinner and cocktails with Erica. We went to B&T Pizza for some yummy New York Style Pizza and Sangria's, yum! It is the best pizza in the Lou! If you enjoy NY style pizza, you have to hit this new spot on Washington Ave., it is amazing. You can get a slice or an 18" pie! A little garlic and red pepper, you feel like you are in the big apple!
Saturday I enjoyed a full day at the spa, it was wonderful! It was 7 hours of pampering, food and wine. By the end of the day, I felt like a new person and so relaxed! I even got crazy and chopped off my hair! The evening was a nice relaxing one again, I hung out with Mike and Erica at their place.
Sunday I headed out to see Mama Mia, such an adorable movie! By the time I got back, H was back from the lake and he was exhausted! I had been craving Indian food, and we were going to do take out but I decided to get crazy and cook it! It actually turned out good! I may have a future in Indian cooking! It was an early night, we were tired and wanted to be rested up for the week!
We have an activity filled week, tomorrow night our Dinner Club is going out for Restaurant Week, we are going to hit Lombardo's Trattoria for this event. Wednesday, they are having a luncheon for my promotion at work, which will be fun and nerve-racking! Thursday we have our Monthly Condo Dinner, and will be dining at Solace. Friday we have Joshua's 3rd birthday party and Saturday we will be enjoying Restaurant Week again, this time at Mike Shannon's. If you have never been to Downtown Restaurant Week, I would highly recommend going. It is a 3 course dinner for $25/person. The food is great and there are also wine specials. It gives you the chance to try something new and there are many great new places downtown!
Have a great week!
