This week, on Thursday, May 1, my little sister, Priti turns 21!!! Wow, do I feel old! Anyway, in celebration of this great event, we are having a full out party for Priti on Friday. I wanted to plan something different, so I rented The Short Bus. Now, this isn't any ordinary short, yellow bus, but has a Karaoke Machine and LCD monitors! Wow, this should be interesting! It should be a fun night, and The Short Bus, I am sure, will make that happen!

JustinandRoma.com Bar Crawl 2008
On Friday night, there really was not much going on, so H and I decided to shake things up, no reason to be bored! So we decided to start our own bar crawl. We began at the Dubliner for some good 'ol Irish food and a stout beer (wine for me), then we headed over to the Buffalo Brewing Company. This was our first time at the Brewing Co., it is a fairly new establishment and it is very cute. They had beer tastings, a band setting up, and a good crowd, which was nice to see. We try to support the downtown business ventures, they are what will keep the city growing. From there we headed over to Vin De Set. It is a cute little French restaurant off of Chouteau. We started at the inside bar, and then eventually moved to their covered, heated, outside patio, which was fabulous! The view from the room was beautiful. We from there ended our night at the Columns Lounge in Sheraton Hotel, where we caught up with some of our neighbors and friends. It was the perfect ending to the First Annual JustinandRoma.com Bar Crawl!

Borders Concept Store
Borders opened it's first of concept store in Ann Arbor, MI this past February. This is the first of 14 they are opening. The concept stores main new feature is that it has a digital center. A few of the activities you can do here is download music, research family history, and make custom CD's. Along with this, they have made each subject area in the store more digitally savvy.
They are taking a regular bookstore to the next level. Instead of just looking for a book on Italy, you can now look at digital maps, rent portable DVD players for your trip, and listen to the book reader to tell you information about the location.

HungryGirl
Trying to find something yummy and healthy to eat is not always a piece of cake! A new site I have stumbled across, Hungrygirl, is fabulous! It is full of eating tips and recipes. What I am enjoying the most is how to make some of your favorite fast food and restaurant recipes at home, in a healthy fashion! Who wouldn't love that! As long as I can keep the taste and lower the calories, I'm in! The site was started by a girl, just like most of us, who was yo-yo dieting and was hungry! It is fabulous!
