Congratulations Emily & Bobby

Last weekend H and I headed back to Quincy for Emily and Bobby's wedding. Justin grew up with Emily and have stayed friends over all the years. It was all beautiful and we had a great time! Congratulations Em and Bobby - we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

All-Star Week

This year the All-Star game was held in St. Louis and of course we had to join in the fun! We were out of town the weekend before, but hopped right into the fun on Monday. H and I headed out to walk the streets of St. Louis and enjoy the festivities. We had a great time! It was so nice to see the streets filled with so many people. Tuesday, Mike, Erica and I headed out to catch part of the parade and then walked around all afternoon and evening. H had class so he was unable to meet us until later when we headed to Column's Bar in our building to watch the game. It was such a fun event and the city was soaking it up!

The Citygarden

This summer the new Citygarden opened. It's downtown, right next to Justin's office. It is really a beautiful garden. On our last date night we went to dinner, and a movie and decided to take a walk around the new area. It was great to see so much activity downtown during the late evening hours. They had it complete just in time for the All Star Game, which was an asset.

Priti Visits!

In the midst of our weekend madness, Priti was able to come to the Lou for a visit - it was just one night, but we had a fabulous time! Myself, Priti, Mike and Erica headed over to the Four Seasons for Parties on the Terrace for dinner and drinks. It was such a beautiful night and I absolutely love the atmosphere up there. H came and met us after he got out of class that evening. It was great Priti was able to come to the lou to hang out since she is now in Thailand and then is off to law school in the beginning of August.

July 4th at the Lake

Over the holiday, H and I went to the Lake of the Ozarks to celebrate the 4th and our friend Gg's birthday! It was a fabulous weekend. The group consisted of Gg's parents, her uncle and aunt, cousins (who were gracious hosts and let us stay at their home over the weekend), Prity, Ryan, myself and H. Brittany, Tyler and Payton were also in the area and came to hang out with us Friday night as well. We went out on the boat and then went to the Lazy Gator to celebrate Gg's birthday and watch the fireworks. Prity and Donna found an area that morning at the restaurant/bar which had beds you could rent - so of course that is what we did! It was awesome! If you ever get a chance to do that, I would strongly recommend it. It was a great weekend and we are glad we could join in the festivities!

Congratulations Ritu & Tim

The Happy Couple!

A few weeks ago my sister, Ritu and Tim (her long time boyfriend) were engaged! We are so excited for them! If you know my sister, she is very hard to surprise! He engaged by just walking up behind her while she was doing some work and leaned over her shoulder with the ring and asked her to marry him! She was so surprised! She called me that night - or morning, it was 1:30 a.m., crying and so happy!

Fortunately, the next weekend all of us were going to be in Centralia. It was wonderful we were all able to get together to celebrate this occasion. We had a full house, it was the whole Nemani family, Tim, Ritu, Priti, Abhi, Madison (Abhi's girlfriend), The whole Reimer Family, and Melanie (Matt-Tim's Brother's-girlfriend). Saturday evening Priti and my mom had arranged a small engagement celebration. It was family and close friends, which was perfect!

Congratulations Ritu & Tim, we are so happy for the both of you (Time to start planning!!!!)

Happened so fast!

This summer is flying by - I can barely keep up! H and I have been all over the place! We have had a lot of events and functions which have kept us out of the Lou. I will slowly start updating what we have been up to!
